USE OF IMAGE
A permission form must be completed for the use of any Otago Museum image other than personal use. Please email registrar@otagomuseum.govt.nz to arrange permission.

The Otago Museum as owner of the objects in its collections and the data associated with them charges a fee for reproduction and use of image. This is in addition to any processing charges. 

With few exceptions, the Otago Museum holds copyright over images of objects in its collections, including documents and data produced by staff members while in the employ of the Otago Museum.

In the event that the Otago Museum does not own copyright, it is up to the applicant to determine, and seek permission from the copyright holder.

Any charges from the copyright holder are additional to the Otago Museum reproduction charges.
